The last time that I was active in submitting drawings was last year. At that time, my drawing skills have truly improved over the years. Even during my hiatuses, I still try to find the time to practice my drawing, usually when I'm very bored or when I have a sudden idea. College life is very stressful, especially on a pre-med course. I often use my time either to study or to sleep or to attend events. I find people who can manage to do drawing projects, whether daily, weekly, or monthly, while living the college life, admirable. I wasn't able to do that, I somewhat have a different kind of pace.
I'm also exploring different kinds of interests, especially in the seiyuu, 2.5D, and PH idol fandoms. I was very much focused on it, which is why I made drawings inspired by those last year. And I made lots of friends that I managed to meet some of them on Cosplay Mania 2018.
During the time that I had a leave of absence last year, I saw it as an opportunity to make slightly more ambitious drawings because I had so much free time. Right now, I barely have much time to draw, as I'm currently working on my thesis for my course. Even though I have lots of time to do the thesis, it feels so stressful as I'm working on my own. I just want to vent out my frustrations by writing this journal, and that it has been so long since I've written one. I'm constantly having panic attacks because of it and I hate it so much. I'm doing all I can so that I can graduate and finally get to pursue my dream of being a mangaka. I really want to focus more on improving my drawing skills. And hopefully, I get to submit more of my drawings in this DeviantArt account.
